It’s a great life….
By · CommentsI’ve been reading Eckhart Tolle’s “A New Earth”, again (well, for the 11th time). For me, it’s a difficult book to grasp, mentally–it’s pretty much like “The Secret” on steroids. Makes my head want to explode.
I keep reading because I always get something terrific out of it. Last night I got this–nothing is that important, nothing. If you look into yourself and calm your mind you can conquer and achieve anything.
From now on anything that goes wrong or not the way I was hoping I’m going to stay calm and say, “life is great”. Because it is.
So far today–the dog barking at 6am and waking up my 11 month old. “Life is great!”
My husband yelling once again for our 9 year old to brush his teeth (also at 6am).
“Life is great!”
Coffee, alone, at 7am after everyone has left the house and baby is actually still sleeping…Life IS great!

How will I know when it’s working?
Haven’t blogged in awhile, sorry ’bout that mate (read with an Australian accent, just for fun).
I’ve been spending my time on a farm. A virtual one (ok 2).
For those of you who don’t know there is a game on Facebook called farmtown (you don’t deserve caps farmy).
It’s adorable really, you plow your land, plant seeds, wait for your crops to grow, harvest and sell them. Very entertaining ….in the beginning. By level 15 it’s a part time job. By 20, say goodbye to your weekends.
And now that I’m level 24 (woo hoo!) I’m bored with it.
My aunt, God love her, got me hooked a few weeks ago. Today she posted an excel spreadsheet on good harvesting tactics, coins you earn…wait, go back, AN EXCEL SPREADSHEET! That’s it. I’m done.
I get up, I farm.
I eat, I farm.
I’m sitting here right now with another window open farming (I’m kidding …no I’m not).
AAAHHHH, I have kids to raise enough already with the virtual chickens!
I need an intervention.
